FINAL PRESENTATION
My concept is based on people who are coming back from a party and are taking the night bus back home.

My aim is to bring attention to the collection of artworks in the public space of Rotterdam. I want to give them insight into their own imagination and a glimpse into the experience of other people. But the most important part is that they have fun!

Based on the group research, I have divided the user group in four different subtypes: the back seat lover, the fast food lover, the entertainer and the sleeper. Based on these subtypes and the final feedback from our research I made a new collection. You can find this collection on the bottom of my research page.
One of the goals of BKOR is to get more insight into you own imagination and to get a glimpse into the experience of the other. To achieve this, I made different coloring pages on postcards. Those cards will be displayed in a rank in the night bus and people can get them for free.

In the bus there will be a card display rank with these in it. On the front of this card you can see an image of one of the artworks, but on the spot of the artwork you will find an empty space. The user group can color in their art to get an insight into their own imagination. There is also a QR-code on it, which you can scan to draw your art online (because no one has a pencil with them…).

If you have made your artwork online, then you can add it to the gallery. This gallery is showing a new collection of all the art drawings made by different people. In this way everyone can experience how other people see the art.

On the back of the card there will be a little story written, which is focussing on the different subtypes. The artwork in front of the card is also connected to the little story and different subtypes.

Side note: you can’t actually color in the card on the website :( because it is made in Adobe XD.

The design is based on the website of BKOR. I have used the same colors and fonts. I also added a double layer to the font on the card, so that it looks more “drunk”.

The colors are divided and matched with the subtypes. Pink is matching with love, because a lot of people see it this way. Orange with the entertainer, because orange is a bright color and the entertainer is always in the centre of attention. Red with fastfood, because a lot of fastfood restaurants use this color. And dark blue is matching the sleeper, because of the color of the sky at night.

The front of the card looks like a coloring page, so it is immediately clear that it is about coloring in the art. And the back is focussing on the subtypes with colors, text and little illustrations.

The design of the website is based on these cards. But also on how the website of BKOR is build up. And on the tests I did with different people.
