105 interfaces collection
In the first, "Creatures of the night for the other side" , we look at time zones and the fact that it is always night somewhere. So we are all night creatures. we thought of connecting people throughout the world through the different time zones.
The second idea is called "Vampires". where we look at people who want to be awake at night for whatever reason and follow their steps.
In the third idea, "On the bus", we want to focus on people who are traveling at night and use the windows as an interface. This allows us to reach a wider audience without focusing on one demographic. People are in their own worlds, often bored, so it is a good chance to get their attention.
The route we've chosen

USER STORIES
CONCLUSION

After we discussed all of our visual metaphors we liked "on the bus" the most. The bus is a place where all the different kind of night creatures meet. People who go to work, but also party people.

After we saw the visual metaphors of other groups, we thought that we were a bit too much focused on the user instead of the collection. So we decided to research the website of BKOR a little bit more and make a more general visual metaphor as a new diagram. But we will also keep the night bus idea.
USER STORIES
GENERAL VISUAL METAPHORE
GENERAL VISUAL METAPHORE
We took the eye shape of the logo of BKOR and repeated this in the shape of a star (which is symbolic for the night). At the bottom are the people who want to be a "creature of the night" voluntarily. On the top are the people who don't have a choice to be it. The overlapping part in the middle is everyone together as a "creature of the night".

RESEARCH ON NIGHT BUS
RESEARCH ON NIGHT BUS
CONCLUSION

The bob-bus is only riding on Friday- and Saturday night and is focusing on people who want to go out. This means that we are going to use partygoers as our target group.

Maybe we can combine the bus route together with the art works in the city... This is what we are going to research now.
CONCLUSION

We made a rough sketches of bus routes in combination with the art. We decided to take a closer look at two of the bus routes. We chose B3 and B5. They are both going in a different direction and through the city centre of Rotterdam.
POSSIBLE COLLECTION
POSSIBLE COLLECTION
We think that all the art with lights in it can be an interesting collection. These sculptures are possible options.
CONCLUSION MAPPING THE COLLECTION

Our user group wants to have as much fun as possible and wants the night to last forever. The night is not ending in the night bus, but continues. That’s why we connected the artworks which are on the route of B3 and B5. This collection exists of 27 works.
