THE CONCEPT
For my final interface I decided to do an interactive poster on the bus stop with which the users can not only be entertained, but educate themselves as well. I would like to catch the attention of the people who are either using the night bus, or just pass by the bus station. By doing so I want my design to be mysterious and I would like to raise questions in the users' minds, so that they get interested in what this is about and try it out. I would like to 'promote' artworks even during the night. The interactive posters will be situated on every bus stop of the route we have made with my research group - the routes B3 and B5 of the 'BOB-bus' in Rotterdam.

By interacting with the poster, the user will be able to choose between reading about the artworks or playing the game. The game consist of memorising an object (in this case the artwork which the user chose on random) for 30 seconds and do a pixel version of it. The user will be able to choose an artwork which is on the route of the bus. I have selected 20 artworks out of the 27 which we have chosen with my research group. I have decided to take this particular ones because I find some of them interesting to be seen in pixels, others because they will be easy for the user and lastly, because some of them are more challenging than others. The selected collection can be found under the title 'NEW CONCEPT'.

DESIGN
The design of the cover page is inspired by the movie 'Nerve'. The idea of drawing a pixelated version of the artworks came from an in class exercise which we have made in the beginning of the study year. The colours used on the names of the artworks and the artists in the section 'Reader' are based on the colours on the BKOR website.

By getting closer to the poster you see more. This is because it is designed to have a glowing dot which covers the whole text on the cover page. As the user sees it or accidentally moves closer to the poster, the dot will shrink and the user will be able to read underneath it. This method was inspired by the exercises made with the 'Arduino circuit playground express' and by the examples given by the tutors.

If the user decides to play the game (chooses 'Player'), he will have 30 seconds to memorise an object (in this case an artwork chosen on random by the user) and then to make a pixelated version of the it by recalling it in his memory. I have chosen 30 seconds because this is the time in which the Short Term Memory of a person starts to work.

After the user has drawn his version of the artwork, he will be able to upload it directly to the BKOR website, to sent it to a friend via social media, to download it to his phone or delete it. If the person chooses the first option, eventually there will be a really interesting and colourful collection of interpretations of a certain artwork.

If the user decides to press 'Reader' he will get information about the artworks, the artists and how they look like.
